Wurde das schonmal erwähnt..? Macht auf mich einen SEHR interessanten Eindruck:
ABV4 Sophia VSTi

ABV4 Sophia VSTI a unique virtual synthesizer
that excels in creating intriguing ambiences and
modulated sound effects. The initial sound
generation results from the accumulation of 4
oscillators and a sub harmonic wave table.
Multiple stages of delay and reverb combine
with various low pass / band pass filtering
controlled by a lfo network. In addition two
separate low pass filters are after the output
stage of channels 1/3 2/4 respectively. All
sound processing & signal generation is
connected to the master lfo network (parameter
blast-m). The lfo network makes it easy to
modulate any key parameter without using
external midi controller modulation.
However, all of ABV4 Sophia's parameters
are controllable via midi control change
messages.
Sophia may be confusing to grasp at first,
because of the GUI based on "setting the vibe"
opposed to usability. This was purely an artistic
decision, rather than a practical one, however
included is a signal chain diagram in "Sophia
ABV4 signal_flow.gif". "Sophia ABV4 signal_
flow.gif" is the easiest way to describe
Sophia's signal chain. The way that Sophia
was authored is comparable to authoring a
MAX/MSP patch and exporting a VSTI synth
(with some additional pixelwork for GUI).
Due to this authoring approach it's difficult to
explain how every parameter works, and the
best way to understand is to just spend time
twiddling the display parameters and listening
to the sounds.

Karmakiller 1.1 is a monster with a comprehensive 6x4 Modulation Matrix. It features two oscillators with Dual mode and two multi-mode filters that can be configured to run in series or parallel. It is 8-note polyphonic and, of course, includes the Rhythmic Gate effect.
JOYkILLER is the first of our matrix synths and has a different character thanks to some 3rd party modules. It features an extensive 4x4 Modulation Matrix coupled to a new Multi- Oscillator and combined Low-Pass / Band-Pass Filter. It is 8-note polyphonic with Unison Mode and the Rhythmic Gate effect.
LOVEkILLER is a hybrid synth combining the great sound of Phase Distortion with a multi-mode filter, complemented by a 4x5 Mod Matrix. Control over both phase mod and filter cutoff gives this instrument awesome power. It is 8-note polyphonic with Unison and the Rhythmic Gate effect. It is set to become our flagship synth.
HOPEkILLER took a while to finish and became the first of our synths with a Modulation Matrix. It features a SoundFont Oscillator and a State-Variable [multi-mode] Filter. It includes full MIDI automation and a programmable Rhythmic Gate. It is 16-note polyphonic with Dual [unison] Mode.
iDkILLERpv uses Casio-style Phase Distortion coupled to a powerful Unison module.
PV stands for Performance Variant and it includes full MIDI automation, useful controls for playing the instrument with a controller keyboard as well as an extra LFO destination [pan]. It also features two effects; overdrive and a programmable Rhythmic Gate. It is 4-note polyphonic.

Dieser virtuelle Synthesizer für die VST-Schnittstelle ermöglicht die Einbindung der kreativen Möglichkeiten des 5.1-Surround-Sound direkt in das Sounddesign. Es stehen jeweils zwei Oszillatoren für Front und Rear sowie jeweils ein weiterer Oszillator für Center und LFE (Subwoofer) zur Verfügung. Resonanzfähige Multimodefilter für jede dieser Surround-Ebenen und insgesamt drei LFOs sorgen für interessante Klangverläufe und Modulationen. Mit dem Arpeggiator lassen sich dank der Beat-Synchronisation auch rhythmische Gating-Effekte erzeugen. Sämtliche Parameter des Subtrakt 5.1 können via MIDI-Controller gesteuert werden und sind voll in die VST-Automation eingebunden.

Mein Tipp der Woche: Sophia VSTi (siehe oben)
Kaum bedienbares Interface und perverser CPU-Ausschlag selbst bei hochperformanten Kisten, dafür aber beinhaltet dieser Synth bizarr post-nukleare Klangteppiche, selbstmodulierende Ultra-Flächen mit höchst-ambientalem Sci-Fi-Faktor: beeindruckend schwebend-organische Sounds aus einem Kostnix-Plugin mit höchstem Spaßfaktor: kurz in die Tasten geklimpert, ein Delay auf das Plug gelegt und schon versinkt man in erstaunlich ungewöhnlichen Flächenteppichen jenseits normierter Preset-Sounds. Ganz gewaltig großes Kino, sehr abstrus und 'abgefahren' trifft's wohl am besten.

Hach, Sophia. Zurerst wusste ich nichts mit ihr anzufangen, sprach sie doch oberflächlich eine andere Sprache als ich. Nachdem wir ein wenig rumgemacht haben hat sie mir ihr innerstes offenbart. Die kleine hat definitiv ein sehr einnehmendes Wesen, aber ihr grosses Herz überhäuft einen mit sehr viel Liebe. Ich hätte mich für sie häuslich neu eingerichtet, glücklicherweise ist mein Heim ihren Ansprüchen gerecht geworden. Es ist sogar noch Platz für ein paar meiner anderen, vereinnahmenden Liebschaften (z.B. Whitenoise Additive oder Reaktor). Ich denke, dass wir eine schöne Zeit verbringen werden...

Joa, auf meinem 2,8er schiebt eine Instanz von Sophia die CPU auf 30 % hoch. Viel kann man da nicht mehr drumrum bauen...

Auf meinem Athlon XP 3200+ beansprucht Sophia ~25% cpu. Selbst wenn es 30% wären bleiben nach meiner Rechnung immer noch 70% über mit denen man durchaus was sinnvolles anfangen kann ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Meine RME Hammerfall RPM läuft auf 44.1khz bei 16 bit, wenn Deine Soundkarte auf 96khz liefe, würde sich das direkt in der Rechenzeit bemerkbar machen.
Könnte auch sein, dass Athlon 64 für einige Operationen in Sachen DSP weniger geeignet sind, Dein System durch irgendwelche Bios settings oder sonstwas negativ beeinträchtigt wird. Ich hab z.B. keine Ahnung wie es auf Athlon 64 CPU's mit denormalem Verhalten aussieht (ein high precision Modus in den die CPU bei herumrechnen mit extrem kleinen Werten springt und sich negativ auf die verbleibende CPU Leistung auswirkt).
