A crazy instrument which uses spherical harmonics to modulate the vertices of a sphere. These vertices are then used to generate waveforms for a simplistic additive synthesis engine. Uses opengl to display the modulated spheres (one for every voice). Pretty high cpu usage due to the need to re-calculate 1024 vertices 100 times a second though.

Sehr, sehr, sehr gut klingender und vielseitiger Synth, der eine ideale Trance-Schleuder ist und richtig schön derb-kratzige Sounds erzeugt und zugleich als FX dient. Der Sound ist harsch und digital und rau und leicht unterkühlt, aber erstaunlich druckvoll und vielseitig, inbesondere mit extremen Cutoff und Resonanz-Einstellungen kann man perverse Modulationen erzeugen, die inbesondere für Bass- und Lead-Sounds prädestiniert sind. Wer sich 'n Plug wie Vanguard kaufen möchte, sollte vielleicht vorher KarmaFX antesten - für kostnix bzw. 'n Zehner Donationware der Fairness halber.

Ist mir nicht bekannt, zumal die Synthese eines Sax momentan kaum brauchbar ist, schon frühere Synthese-Versuche der Hardware klang irgendwie sehr grottig, weshalb eben doch wieder auf Phrasen-Sampling und Libraries zurückgeriffen wird, u.a. YellowTools Candy: virtuelles Instrument mit einer 9 Gigabyte großen Library mit Multipatches und SingleSounds (ingesamt 10.000 Kleinstphrasen) mit bis zu 8 Layern - entsprechend aber auch alles andere als 'billig', siehe www.yellowtools.com

Hi,
Und da bin ich auch voll fündig geworden.Und zwar XXdr8008 V.3.1Dieses Teil ist ja der Oberhammer als Drumcomputer.Kommt fast wie Waldorf Atack.Damit kann man live Musik machen.Habs probiert und bin begeistert.Einfach Drummidi rein und immer an den Reglern schieben!Der stellt einige Hardware Drumcomputer voll im Schatten.

BMK II est un synthétiseur FM a deux oscillateurs dont la fonction principale est de générer des basses fortes et continues. Les modulations disponibles permettent d'ajouter un léger Click d'attaque, de jouer sur le méjange des deux oscillateurs et d'y ajouter un discret LFO. L'option B BOOST descend le spectre pour des bases encore plus rondes.

Leider hat der Plugin-Designer xoxos sich von diesem Metier verabschiedet und wird vorerst wohl keine neuen Plugz mehr coden, dafür hat er aber sämtliche, vor allem auch die ehemals kostenpflichtigen, Plugz nun für jedermann auf seiner Site für kostnix zur Verfügung gestellt.

StringZ is a physically modeled String ensemble and Solo String synthesizer. At home providing moving and almost real string sounds, StringZ can also be used to provide the more esoteric ensemble and pad sounds as well. FTM String
Primarily the plugin provides a simulation of an oscillating string which is excited at a certain point by plucking or striking. However, due to the generality of the string model, it is possible to simulate any kind of one-dimensional oscillating object with this plugin. This includes a number of string instruments, like guitars, basses, and the Cembalo, but also several percussion instruments, like the xylophone, the vibraphone, and chimes. The type of simulated instrument is determined alone by the physical parameters of the model, which can be adjusted both continuously variable and on the fly. Hence, the advantage of the plugin, and in consequence the advantage of the Functional Transformation Method (FTM), is more the variability and the flexibility of the synthesizer, rather than the exact reproduction of real instruments. This parameter-scratching feature offers a new dimension in musical expressiveness.
