Buffered takes in sound and saves it in a buffer and then reads it out of this buffer , but you can alter the read position within this buffer over time using the buffer map window. For instance if you have the mapping reverse from the initial position , this will reverse the sound played.
You can do things like reversing sound , low-fi pitch shifting and other more eccentric things , there is a bank of 8 presets showing some possible effects.
The controls are all midi mapped and allow you to alter the mix between the normal output and the buffer mapping , the size of the buffer, sample & hold of the buffer, the buffer position smoothing and buffering windowing.
In the buffer mapping screen, pressing left mouse button draws in the buffer mapping , right mouse button brings up command menu.

Reads in a cycle's-worth of the input signal, then (once the whole cycle's been read in) outputs it again, on top of the current output. Works best with long/sustained sounds (e.g. strings, pads etc.), sounds like a weird kind of gentle distortion.

Very simple controls , pressing the button labeled Record starts recording sound , pressing this again stops it (you can have up to about 2 minutes at 44.1khz).
Pressing the button labeled Play , plays this recorded sound , looping it . Pressing this button again turns it off.
There are also controls for
* dry signal mix
* output volume of the loop
* loop volume , this controls who quickly the sound dies away over time (if at all)
* dry signal feed into loop
* low & high pass filter
* Regen - returning the loop to original state
* All the controls have midi cc's.

analog (hehe) zum posting im vsti-thread, auch hier meine faves der letzten monate.
allgemein vorweggeschickt: dank an die poster (vor allem chris, der den löwenanteil zum erhalten des/der vst-threads beiträgt)
allgemein vorweggeschickt 2: ich habe das gefühl, im vst-efx-bereich (ich spreche von freeware) ist nix grossartiges mehr passiert. frickelfrickel, ok, aber davon hat jeder von uns sicher schon trillionen auf der hd rumliegen. vor allem vermisse ich hin zur professionalisierung und klangvollendung neigende tools, die den meistern von waves, voxengo und co einigermassen beikommen können. als einzige marke bleibt da für mich kjaerhus mit ihrer classic-reihe.
und jetz zu den lobpreisungen.

wenns rotzen soll. feines guitaramp/verzerrungs plug mit verhältnismässig vielen einstellungsmodis, kommt immer wieder mal rein als 30%-beimischung.

n weilchen nich mehr benutzt. wenn ich mich recht entsinne eher als chorus auf vox benutzt, weil warmer, satter klang. auf jeden fall schöner standard.

kann man schon mögen. lästig ist, dass sich das nicht syncen lässt un ich immer nen attack-verzug habe. oder ich peils nicht. aber als beimischung ganz netter frickler.

ganz ok. auch wenn der klang nicht unbedingt spitze ist, in coop mit nem warmifier und noch nem reverb lässt sich noch mehr rausholen. one-track-wonder.

The Classic Auto-Filter is an analog modeled four-pole filter with resonance control.
