A VST plug-in which emulates the playback speed imperfections of the pre-digital era.
# playback speed is modulated in realtime by up to six oscillators
# intuitive controls: Non-linearly scaled controls allow to directly set the perceived pitch deviation depth and rate resulting from the playback speed modulation.
# dual mode: In dual mode the left and the right channel are modulated separately.
# flange mode: When the modulated signal is mixed with the original signal a flanging effect occurs. This feature recalls the times when recording engineers created a flange effect by applying pressure on the tape reel with their hand. Additional controls for feedback and delay allow to create more intense flange effects. Although the unit can be pushed to self-oscillation in extreme settings it will never cause digital clipping thanks to a compressor algorithm inserted into the feedback path.

Interessantes Konzept, das danach schreit, missbraucht zu werden *g* - das Plug kann in der Host-Umgebung eingebunden werden und erzeugt aus dem Track einen Ringtone-typischen Sound :-)

Free Windows VST plug-in. Last built 23 Mar 2006
GMulti is a three-band compressor and stereo enhancer.
First, the signal is split at user-defined frequencies into three bands. Each of these bands can then be compressed independently and have its stereo width altered before being mixed back together.
The compression of each band is specified in the usual manner with threshold, ratio, attack and release controls.
The GUI contains gain-reduction meters for each band, which have a resolution of 1dB per bar. There is also a before/after waveform display, which can display any of the three bands. The waveform display features a zoom control, which allows the display to be scaled for optimum viewing.
The stereo enhancement works by amplifying or diminishing the stereo information in each band. If you set a Width parameter to 0% then the associated band is collapsed to mono, which is often desirable for the bass band.
The Mix parameter allows the pre-compression signal to be mixed back into the output signal. You can use this to restore some of the dynamics of the original signal.

Glitch accelerator.
Specs:
- X-Y panel: X controls speed, Y controls LowPass Filter and volumen optionally.
- Mode: "Pitched" means the wave will be resampled as speed is beeing modulated. "Grainy" means the wave will not change pitch but the grains will change size as speed is beeing modulated.
- Sync mode: "BPM" or "Free"
- Note subdivision selector.
- Y->Vol (Y value to Volume) button.
- Zero - X: Useful only in "Grainy" mode, this parameter is useful to avoid clicks, but if you want to go very fast you better untick this option, otherwise you'll hear an artifact in where the pitch transitions aren't smooth on very high frequencies.
- X and Y spring buttons: Enable disable spring release on them.
- Smooth knob: This smooths out the X and Y values, high values result on slow response to quick movements, useful to make slow sweeps such as on one Daft Punk famous song.
- Grain size knob: When in "Free" mode (opposed to BPM) you can specify the grain size here.

Paradigm Shifter is a beat shifting delay mangler with lots of modulation options. Here's a list of features in order of signal routing:
-Shifter Section: Can produce strange results from subtle phaser type effects to extreme FSU style madness. Comes with on-board sequencer for modulating the shifter speed.
-Filter Section: Making use of David Haupts brilliant Multi-filter module complete with gain compensation, and multiple stages (up to 8 stages, carefull when using high resonance in the high stages, can produce extreme loudness). Following the filter is a subtle distortion for beefing up the sound. The filter has it's own sequencer for modulating the cutoff frequency.
-Delay Section: Stereo delay section with dual sequencer for modulating the delay rate and feedback. The delay has left and right panners for spreading out the delay.
-Each effect section can be turned on/off
-Each effect section has it's own hidden panel for extra options
-Each sequencer can be paused, switch direction and change speed
-Shifter and filter sequencers have glide controls for gliding the modulation between steps

FORMANT SHIFTER
since it looks like 'omnivox' isn't in distribution, this is my wavecycle-grabbing formant shifter jic there are no other f.s. available.
two issues - sometimes it 'starts wrong' and just sounds like scribble.. when it 'syncs' (which hopefully is most of the time, haven't tried it outside of se) it can actually be very smooth.. that 'wrap you up's ample i used to demo 'sandh' can go a few sandh comes out w/o artifacts for a few semitones
of cos it's a 'wavecycle grabbing't echnique which uses a lpf to find 'pitch rate' zero crossings, it's going to sound crappy on extended sibilance, breathy whispers, stuff like that. clearly pitched stuff (like 'proper singing') should come out good. if the clock misses + it sounds like white noise, just start the host again.
