Hmm, ich krieg den Sidekick leider nicht ans Laufen... Hab die dll ordnungsgemäß in meinen Plugin-Ordner kopiert, aber unter Cubase SX3 taucht der gar nicht auf, und unter Wavelab hab ich ein einziges Mal eine Fehlermeldung bezgl. sidekick3.dll bekommen, kann mich aber leider nicht mehr an den genauen Wortlaut erinnern...
Jemand ne Idee?

Bei mir funktioniert der GLITCH nicht richtig. Auf 3 unterschiedlichen System sieht die neueste Version immer defekt aus. Der Mauszeiger verschwindet, wenn ich versuche etwas einzustellen. Gibt es da eine Lösung für?

2talshia, meinst du dblue's glitch ..? schau' mal in's kvraudio.com-forum, da gibt's einen gigantoiden Thread mit allerhand Fehlermeldungen zu dem Plugin (nebst Lobpreisungen *g*), bei einigen klappt die neue Version nicht, dafür die alte problemlos. Unter Live5 auf meiner Windows-Liste läuft das Dingens hervorragend.

Reason ist als stand-alone-anwendung ausgerichtet.. man kann es zwar dennoch in andere sequencer einbinden, aber VST-plugs in Reason geht nicht. VST-fähige sequencer sind z.b. Cubase oder Ableton Live. dabei kopierst du die entpackten plugin-dateien einfach in ein bestimmtes plugin-verzeichnis, und schon stehen die effekte zur verfügung.

Beim Stöbern nach FX-Plugins bin ich auf einen alten Beitrag von chris gestolpert bez. dem komischen djfrog-plugin. ich hab das damals ignoriert, will mir das jetzt aber dochmal anschauen. Leider kann man´s bei der ursprünglichen Adresse nicht mehr runterladen.
Weiss jemand wo ich das noch bekommen kann oder wäre jemdand so freundlich mir das per Mail zu schicken? Anscheinend isses ja wohl kein musthave ![[Wink]](wink.gif) , aber ich wills unbedingt mal sehen.

vielleicht auch eine frage, was man sich für eine wirkungsweise erwartet.. hatte vor langem mal mit einem amtlichen Exciter zu tun, und die wirkung war allenfalls subtil. aber hängt wohl vom ausgangsmaterial ab.

Danke dir, den Dominion hab ich schon, der dient aber eher der Transienten-Bearbeitung --> keine wirklich guten Resultate was Exciter-Aufgaben angeht.
Beim anderen Link krieg ich ne 404 wenn ich den Downloaden will.
Hab eben mal den hier ausprobiert (klick), der is schonmal ganz gut.

Same basic idea as mWarped Linear Prediction Filter, but this time the filter can have a higher order, the residual signal after whitening can be shifted faster or slower, saturated or decimated. Furthermore, most parameters can be made targets of two LFOs and the envelope follower, in addition to which the output is fed back through a delay line and analyzed along with the input. There is no variable quantization of the residual in Anticode, though, because I didn't feel it really justified itself -- decimate is more interesting anyway. A noise source may be added at a later time, though.

pfilter für windows - freeWare
pfilter is a variable state filter, triggered between 2 adjustable cut-off values by a tempo-sync'd probability-based step sequencer.
Choose from 8 to 16 steps per bar (measure) and the probability of triggering the cut-off (from 0% to 100%) for each step. As the track plays, the filter will loop through the steps and randomly trigger the cut-off depending on the probability assigned to each step.
You choose a lower and an upper cut-off value, the lower value is the default (unless the invert button is pressed) and the upper value is triggered according to the step sequencer .

major malfunction - glitchplug für live für osX
...kostet 10 us$ via payPal, geht momentan nur in Ableton Live und scheint ein wenig dblue's glitch nachempfunden zu sein, das ja für osX leider nich' existiert. man braucht hier zwingend due pluggo-engine von cycling74, damit's läuft.

Ich hatte früher bereits auf die Plugz von Shuriken hingewiesen, die immer wieder charmant kleine Klangmanipulationen erlauben, 'KerrStinn' ist ein kleines Granular-Slice-Glitch-Plugin mit hohem Spaßfaktor:
Features:
* Loads WAV files.
* "Random" knob to control what initial value the randomizing has.
* "Slices" knob to control how many slices you want to cut the loop in to.
* "Bisyness" parameter to control the weight of random to be applied; low values equals a small chance of change and larger values more.
* "Bars" parameter to set how many bars the loop originally is (up to 8).
* "Generator" parameter - these are rules on how to dissect your loops. Take "Freaky 4" for example, its rule is simply "if a slice is the 4th in a series perhaps play it backwards and/or apply the fftish effect on the slice".

This dynamic processor manages audio transients.
Turning the central button on the sweet side, decreases the transients amplitude. On the bitter side, the transients amplitude is magnified. Bitter-Sweet also features a control for the signal to be processed. When the main position is engaged, the process affects the stereo signal. If Center is engaged, only the M signal of the internal MS matrix is processed. If stereo is selected, only the S signal from the MS matrix is processed. As all Flux:: plug-ins it features 64 bit floating point processing, up to 8 channels and up to 8 FS (384 KHz). Center and Stereo Mode are only available in stereo (2 channels) processing.

JB PC-2 features a 'psycho-acoustic relevance' mode. Instead of using a peak or rms-level estimation, this mode employes a perceptual loudness model to compute the loudness of the input signal.
