In the mix with the Denon DP-200USB turntable
High-end vinyl to MP3 conversion
Denon isn't the first name you might think of for record decks, but if the DP-200USB carries the Denon name, you can be pretty sure it's a step up from the plastic platters that dominate this particular market.
Although functionally, it's not a million miles away as your money will get you a deck with 33/45rpm speeds, an MM cartridge and a USB port, promising to convert your vinyl to a digital-friendly format with ease. That's done with the Trans Music manager, software that does the converting, adds in the track information and automatically makes compilations based on that track data.
The DP-200USB has just shown its face in Japan, and is likely to make it around the world before Christmas. The Japanese price is quoted at the equivalent of £182, which sounds pretty agreeable to us.
