On the 8th October World Unknown is 1 year old. Massive thanks to all those of you who have become our mad little extended family over the last year and helped build something pretty damn special.
We're not ones to make a fuss so there won't be a buffet, but there will be INDUSTRIAL FUNK, SYNTH WAVE, NEW BEAT, EBM, PROPER ELECTRO, DARK BALEARIC and ACID HOUSE all night long played by your resident DJs

Here we go again. After a successful incursion into the eastern territories, World Unknown is back at home in Brixton to commence our second year of operations and our move toward becoming a members only club over the next few months.
Membership cards will only ever be made available at World Unknown events. If you've been meaning to come but haven't made it yet or haven't been for a while, it's time to get a move on as from early next year you won't be able to get in without a membership card.
As ever, your hosts and resident dj's Joe Hart & Andy Blake bring the noise with a wall of throbbing electronic music for your dancing pleasure, accompanied by our psychedelic light show and a heavy dose of disco fog for the fullest audio-visual stimulation.
Admission to our South London pleasure dome is £5 before the witching hour and £7 after. Those of you who have already been issued with memberships can use these to gain entry for yourself and one guest for £5 all night and we are still running a £5 all night guest list, but hurry if you want to go on this as numbers are limited. Our regular Brixton Venue, a two-storey railway arch far away from the tyranny. One room full of very loud music, smoke and dancing, one room full of sofas and drinking. It’s easy to get to by tube,overground and bus. A nightbus stops right outside and runs every 30 mins all night and day.

The date of 11-11-11 is one of the most powerful shifts in human
awareness that we will experience in our lifetimes, a rare opportunity to release lifetimes of karmic scripting and ancestral entrapment—entrapment in the sense of the conscious and unconscious habit patterns which have us wondering why we can’t seem to actualise the life we really want to have, and that we know is possible. 11-11-11 is the cosmic birth date of humanity’s prayer for liberation from the rote, mundane, and monotonous.
Eleven is the sound current of Infinity, and sound is one of the most
powerful ways we can heal ourselves. Mantras contain a frequency of
sound which is a healing force that is available to us all. When we join together with others the energy is mega-amplified beyond what can be generated on our own.
This buoyancy of sound is how we can heal ourselves and break free of
the karmic chains of the past. Shift yourself to a space where there
are others creating the same frequency of sound which will act as a
lever to free yourself from the karmic entrapment.
The space will be a certain railway arch in Brixton. You already know the frequency.
Throbbing mantras for your dance of liberation will be provided by spiritual advisors Andy Blake and Joe Hart.
Karmic freedom will be achieved, but will probably wear off on the way home.
