Rick Sanders is a hot talent. Born in the magic Island of Sardinia, he is an experienced DJ and producer on the European scene and is rapidly making a big name for himself. Contamination is the base of his works, full of love, experimenting his interest and opening up to new experiences of cross over with unexpected and different artistic environments. This technology guy makes an explosive entrance on Smiley Fingers and its first release. Melodic, energetic and ultimately... sublime....
Bastard Boys: Lewis and Paky met in 1994, and share a passion for the sea and early ‘90s house music. And it was with the single “Jumpin”, a true house classic by American DJ Todd Terry, that Lewis and Paky started to work together. The name “Bastard Boys” is inspired by the mixture of races, just like their own unmistakable blend of sounds.The groove of these two DJ/producers definitely explores electronic sounds, but with clear tribal contaminations that extend through to the most classic house music.
Smiley Fingers commissions this extravagant dj producer duo to remix the first release of this promising label, My Reflection…
