This might seem like an akward post, but I need some suggestions for inspiration.
I have been a devoted techno/house fan since 1993. And I still like artists such as Alter Ego, Scan 7, Dimbiman, Christian Vogel, Carl Craig and various other 4/4 producers/DJs.
But recently I have found myself being more open to other sides of electronic dance music. All the stuff that I was too young and full throttle going to accept in my earlier years.
Artists like DMX Krew, Two Lone Swordsmen, The Soft Pink Truth, Herbert/Rockit and the likes are beginning to take over. Furthermore I´m beginning to take in some heavy Italo tunes through I-F´s brilliant CBS network.
Well, thats not the problem. The problem is that I live in a city with no recordstore and nowhere to listen to that kind of music. So I really need a few "Other customers who bought this item also bought" suggestions for inspiration.
I have found that especially Two Lone Swordsmen and DMX Krew´s "We are DMX" have just the right flava that I´ve been longing for in a long time and now I have bought and downloaded everything listed on Discogs. Therefore it´s time to move on and find new artists.
Can anyone here post a few? I´m NOT interested in Ssquarepusher, Autechre and the general IDM scene and it´s not Toroccocorot or Ellen Alien either. I know this might seem a bit odd, but hey - you´re all free to think I´m a goddamn morron ![[hasi]](graemlins/hasi.gif)
