Die Compilation „Urban Legends“ ist der erste Release des neuen tschechischen Progressive Psytrance Labels Tribal Vision Records. Mit zehn noch unveröffentlichten Perlen von sehr bekannten Acts, aber auch hoch talentierten Newcomern, hat die CD die Ambition, der beste Progressive Release 2004 zu werden. Die Trackliste beinhaltet Namen wie
– Vibrasphere, einer der bekanntesten Progressive Artists aller Zeiten, mit seinem kristallklaren, dub-beeinflussten Sound,
– Emok, eine Hälfte der „Phony Orphants“ und Label Manager von Iboga Records mit seinem neuen Solo Projekt,
– Human Blue, der schwedische Meister des melodischen, emotionalen Trance,
– BLT & Elysium, die Kollaboration zwischen einer der größten israelischen Psytrance Legenden und einem dänischen Oldschool Künstler,
– POTS aka Prisoners of the Sun, mit ihrer düsteren, trancigen Mischung aus progressiven Beats und rollenden Basslines
– Echotek, Repräsentant einer neuen Generation israelischer Trance Acts, auch bekannt von seinen erfolgreichen Nebenprojekten Reflex und Neologic,
– Meller, die gerade die Dancefloors mit ihrem Debut Album „Solar Drums“

– Parrket, der die tiefgründige, progressive Seite seiner innovativen Musik

Here comes a positive surprise… The new Czech progressive trance label called Tribal Vision Records is out with their first compilation. It is compiled by Slater & Schwa from the Czech Republic. On this compilation you will find some of the cream in progressive trance. With it you get a fat booklet where you can see pictures and read about the artists. It’s really rare to find such booklets in trance releases, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Oh. My. Fucking. God. I have a feeling this could be the best progressive release of the year. Not just this, but it could be one of the best CD’s I’ve heard in 2004. Debut release from new Czech label Tribal Vision, and compiled by DJ Slater, this album is a sheer dream. And by my reckoning, all but one of the tracks on here are belters.
