Madonna is hoping to cause maximum controversy with a new video from her forthcoming CD, AMERICAN LIFE.Editing is in progress on a musical video concept which insiders say may be the most shocking anti-war, anti-Bush statement yet to come from the showbusiness industry.
"She's taking it all the way this time," one source said from Los Angeles over the weekend, "pushing all of the buttons... It is a sweeping political commentary on the modern 'American Dream' and how 'nothing is what is seems.'" Dressed in commando fatigues, Madonna throws grenades as the techno terror beat pounds, claims a source. Limb-less men and women are reportedly shown, with bloody babies. Fashion models are mixed with soldiers; sex, violence and war, and new century sentiment.
da wohl mehr ueber den inhalt als die musik ("techno terror beat"?) diskutiert werden wird, plaziere ich das mal im offtopic ,)
wird wohl noch ein paar wochen dauern, bis es zu sehen sein wird.

Hab das vorhin auch zu lesen bekommen und bin mal richtig gespannt darauf wie es denn realisiert wurde, lässt dann wenigstens wieder schön die Emotionen hochkochen

Gut, aber Elton John hat auch irgendwelchen halbgaren Kommentare zu unseren sog. Superstars abgegeben, scheinbar will er jetzt als Gesellschaftskritiker durchstarten. Ob das dann inhaltlich alles so schlüssig ist... Naja, vielleicht mag ich auch einfach seine Musik nicht...

Vielleicht alles nur Marketing Strategie. Erfolglos wird der Track sicher nicht werden. Aber ansonsten find ich es natürlich gut.
