On the Saturday of Amsterdam Dance Event, Amsterdam’s hottest new venue will be taken over by one of the industry’s biggest names and its crew. Marc Romboy, supported by a massive line-up with all the big names from his Systematic Recordings label will host its yearly ADE event at Boom Chicago/BC12, located in the Boom in the heart of Amsterdam’s entertainment area and city centre: Leidseplein.
The main room will have Marc Romboy doing a back2back session with techno pioneer Stephan Bodzin as a taster to their upcoming Luna project. Besides these 2 heavy hitters, expect to see a live performance by the legendary Robert Babicz, who’s latest album from earlier this year was hailed as “a marriage of organic groove and glistening electronic melodies”.
Man of the moment Rodriguez Jr. will do a live set, who’s music can be leftfield and experimental or rich, melodic and poppy (depending on his mood). More live acts this night will be Spirit Catcher with their polished future disco and the experimental sounds of Bulgarian’s pride KiNK. With DJ sets from Gorge and local hero Terry Toner representing Electronation as the icing on the cake, Boom Chicago/BC12 will be up for a rocking night!
The small room will be hosted by Amsterdam based organisation Plak, who’ll bring you the freshest local talent by the likes of Bobby Andrews, De Kleine Raver, Jaime Frias, KlapSandwich and Le Point.
With this killer line-up and the guarantee that the party won’t stop any earlier than 08:00 in the morning, this Amsterdam Dance Event Special Saturday at BC12 is what they call essential.
