Ich denke, dass der Begriff 'traditioneller Detroit-Techno' ein Oxymoron, das heißt ein Widerspruch, ist. Techno darf alles sein, aber nicht traditionell. Wie kann man etwas wie Techno als klassisch bezeichnen? Damit schließt man ja von vornherein aus, dass der Sound sich erneuern kann.
Wenn Techno Techno bleibt, ist es nicht mehr Techno.

das zitat stammt wohl von dem komödianten Martin Mull aus den '70ern, also von keinem musiker und nicht gerade kompetent..
statt musik könnte man genauso alles einsetzen, was mit gefühlen zu tun hat. nur kann man sich durchaus darüber austauschen.
