Tomie Nevada - Summer Clips EP (12" - UNLEASH010) ELP’s house based label Unleash continues its relentless schedule of seriously funky beats incorporating the many different aspects of the wider house spectrum. Summer Clips is a funky melodic number with catchy riffs and a funky bassline, vocal snippets and strong tecchy flavas, for a cool dance floor vibe. Shake That” on the B side takes a tougher approach, still with deep tecchy vibes, but with amore minimal production. “Lost & Found” rounds off this releases with its very prominent rollin deep bass line, sparse vocal snippets.

Hardcell - Bensin EP (12" - ZENIT023)
Fresh from his recent Inside outing for Joel Mull, Hardcell (Drumcode, Jericho, CLR, Skunkworks, Illegal Stockholm etc..) returns to the forefront once again, this time with his debut release for Zenit. “Peltor” starts of with an effective intro which indicates that this will be something special. As it gently builds, he unleashes melodic overtones, a pounding groove, spatial effects and a powerful and distinctive breakdown, for an immense dance floor techno bomb. “ Mo’ Gas” on the flipside is a more straight forward production, with a bell like stab, powerful analogue riffs and another jaw dropping breakdown. Expect this to be battered by all the usual suspects.
