Aloah.
Ich habe zwar in letzter Zeit nix brandneues Produziert, da ich in der Hochzeitssaison als Fotoonkel neben meinem haupt Job massig zu tun habe dafür kam mein neues Album auf DETUND raus. Den einen oder anderen Track wird man vielleicht hier aus dem Forum kennen.

This is the second album after a ten year hiatus and the first one released on a label. Prior to this, ENV(itre) released a self published record titled “Über Stock und Stein” in 2025. Before the break, the last release was the Ruct EP, also on DETUND, back in 2014 making this album a continuation from where things were left off. In addition, several remixes and compilation tracks were released throughout 2025.
Prysmaen Tales is an exploration of sound through refraction and transformation.
Derived from Prismata the plural of prism the title points to the album’s core idea: a single source broken into multiple sonic realities.
Rooted in classic IDM traditions, the album expands them with modern production techniques, granular textures, and detailed sound design. Melodies, rhythms, and noises are treated as raw material, passed through electronic “prisms” that fracture, bend, and recombine them into shifting forms. What begins as a simple motif may reappear as a distant echo, a spectral shimmer, or a fractured rhythm familiar yet transformed.
Each track unfolds like a small tale, revealing different facets of the same sonic language. Beats are precise but fluid, structures are suggestive rather than fixed, and timbres evolve constantly, inviting close listening. Rather than following linear narratives, Prysmaen Tales focuses on perception: how sound changes depending on context, movement, and attention.
The result is an album that bridges eras honoring the introspective depth of classic IDM while embracing contemporary electronic aesthetics. Prysmaen Tales is less about answers than about perspectives: sound seen from multiple angles, refracted into stories of texture, rhythm, and space.
