Release Text:

Here is "Fiction", a Deep Techno release with 4 tracks, serving as the counterpart to the first half, "Science", that was previously published.

While "Science" was dark and heavy, similar to highly condensed matter, and interwoven with robotic voices within a mysterious atmosphere, the tracks on "Fiction" are lighter, brighter, more enthusiastic and melodic, featuring sparkling sounds—yet still deep, as is the fundamental character of JOIX's music.

It begins with "Lion's Gate Portal", a spacious opener that, with a minimal percussive framework of kick and snare drum along with lively basses and fanfare-like sounds, invites the listener to pass through the gate guarded by regal animals, and tune into a track with several surprises.

"Furtur 2"—a wordplay combining the grammatical tense and the famous pre-hippie bus "Furthur" from the early 60's—is like an acid-soaked wild ride with live-recorded synth capers, paired with recurring quieter phases that let you catch your breath before the rattling bus continues on toward a promising future.

"Birth Machine" is carried by a warm bassline and steadily builds momentum with its driving percussive elements, eventually placing a powerful synthesizer voice into this soundscape, adding even more depth to the overall creation.

"Bitter Sweet Dream" forms the fitting conclusion to this release and features a complex arrangement full of twists, uniting many of the themes hinted at earlier—all without a single break.

Everything on "Fiction" was made with no presets, no AI, no short ways but with lot's of love and passion for your enjoyment!

Großartig!
Hatte auch hier schon auf Insta davon gesehen und vorab viel Erfolg beim Kickstarter-Projekt sowie bei der Release-Party im Juni!
Die Tracks - mit Ausnahme der Nr. 3 - haben so einen ausgeprägt industriellen Touch, sehr interessante Texturen und Sounds, durchaus 'psy' im Mood. Erfrischend anders, erfrischend ungewöhnlich!
