Rekleiner - After having released their extremely successful “State Of Things” on our sub imprint Connaisseur Superiéur in 2006, Rekleiner have enhanced their sound again into a new hypnotic state of mind. Their second strike for Connaisseur is called “Los Caminos” and offers two mesmerising cuts to all aficionados of the deepest forms of electronic club music.

Rekleiner is a collaboration between Stuart Geddes, Anthony Middleton & Luca Saporito . All three of them are committed players within the London underground club scene and DJs travelling worldwide. Stuart is in charge of the famous “Mulletover” warehouse parties, Luca and Anthony are also known as Audiofly.

“Q onda” is a delicately meandering ride through Rekleiner’s land of advanced soundscapes. Things evolve gradually, spurred on by a steady kick and an almighty rumbling bassline. Some bleepy sounds come floating by and add more fuzzy dancefloor darkness to this hypnotic excursion. Peak time pleaser!

“Dos Caminos” is the storyteller on this release. Starting with an ultradeep groove, the track slowly grows into an atmospheric epic. The dubby sounds slowly morph the track into an echoey, desolate afterhour beauty which could easily be an up to date reminiscence of Lil Mo’ Ying Yang’s “Reach” from 1995.

Coole Scheibe,es sind 2 coole Tracks,wobei mir der 2. ein stückweit besser gefällt, da er nach dem Break bei 2.20 Min. mit einem unglaublichen Groove weitergeht.Der erste findet bestimmt auch einen Platz in einem Set aber eher in den früheren Nachtstunden.........Trotzdem dickes Ding!*****HIER***** und weiter so...

mit dem ersten track werd ich auch nicht so warm, der ist mir gerade zu düster. aber die b-seite klingt echt fein - und das obwohl rekleiner nicht gerade zu meinen favoriten zählen

Eine sehr schöne deepe Platte, wo beide Tracks zu gefallen wissen! Die A-Seite sagt mir jedoch etwas mehr zu...
Würde gerne die Platte gewinnen und sage deswegen hier!

Die B-Seite ist der Knaller und weiß wie oben schon gesagt, vor allem nach dem Break zu gefallen.

a find ich irgendwie unbequem, etwas ziellos. die b seite mag ich sehr und passt voll ins connaisseur raster: die beats sind typisch (erinnern mich doch sehr an die letzte roya), die vorliebe für verwaschene atmos, die nach oben wegziehenden flächen...

Ich bin nicht so der Fan von Q Onda, der Beat ist mir zu trocken und aufdringlich und die Sound szu uninspiriert. Dafür gefällt mir "Dos Caminos" umso besser, butterweiche Sounds, verträumt und sonnig...alleine wegen dieses Stücks kommt von mir ein behreztes "Hier!"
