hailing from berlin norman weber and marco resmann released an album in autumn 2009 that can be easily called a success. this is why there were no problems at all to find an illustrious circle of remixers.

mathias kaden starts off with his smaragd remix of “diamonds & pearls“, one of the more successful tracks of the record. mathias sticks to his style. he knows how to experiment with the e-piano snippets from the original track. all this is supported by an ambitiously grooving beat that simultaneously accomplishes a certain airy lightness. this is something that only he can do!

most people will know ray okpara from mannheim as member of the oslo-crew. his remix strips “celebration of life” down to its essence: the groove. ray keeps this driving and consistence until the last beat.

catz’n’dogz from stettin have taken care of the humorous “mr. jack“. contrary to the original track the vocals rather act as an instrument and are based on a beat that puts you under a spell from the very first second and doesn’t release you until the track is over.

as a digital bonus the new zealander simon flower provided one his typically organic remixes; this time “heaven’s gate“. it is the perfect finish to the first part of the remixes.
