das war mit abstand die schlechteste gigolo-party ever. nächstes jahr mach ich wohl erstmal pause...

von mt sims habe ich leider nur den letzten track mitgekriegt. die mjüsig war recht witzig, aber irgendwie war ich trotzdem leicht angenervt als ich die hupfdohlen auf der bühne gesehen habe. sind wir hier im tarm-center oder wie?

Das kannst du aber laut sagen... kann mich noch erinnern Anzeigen von der Crossover- Platte Anfang November gesehen zu haben um sie dann letztendlich im Februar im Plattenladen zu sehen ......

Ultra Sex is the introduction to technosex...modern Eros," states Mount Sims, a.k.a. Matt Sims. "I want people to dance, art, sex, and think to this album - preferably all at one time. It is a record for touching people of all sexual orientation, and all the people who love machines. I think this is the future."

Mount Sims, a.k.a. Matt Sims, began making noise in Milwaukee, thanks to a guitar and a 5,000 piece record collection he inherited from his brother, a former guitarist for Curtis Mayfield, Barry White, and Giorgio Moroder. As fate would have it, many years later Sims, as Mount Sims, would create an album, Ultra Sex that fused the rich elements of the various bands his brother performed in.

As a young teenager Matt Sims experimented fusing electronics and live music. Involved in bands ranging in styles from electronic noise, new wave and pop rock, he continued to develop as a musician, learning how to play more than 23 different instruments, and touring the world many times.

After being arrested for public nudity and disorderly conduct while trying to fornicate with a speaker at a party, he moved to LA for a change of scenery and to pursue other creative outlets. Putting down his instruments and records for more than a year, he settled down in Hollywood, got a job as a model, and began to immerse himself in the subjects of Post-Modernism and Eros.

"When I was modeling I couldn't get the idea of making music out of my head. Being that the fashion world, a world based on visual art, is so forward in every artful aspect including music, I became exposed to the challenge of creating future aesthetics," says Mount Sims. "I became surrounded by new and challenging music and visuals, which in turn were the cues for me to try to create something which incorporated what I saw and wanted to hear."

Not long after this he met Ryan Heffington, an acclaimed LA performance art genius, who asked Matt Sims to compose some music for his performance group "Psycho Dance Show." During this performance Sims was introduced to LA's famous underground fashion designer Grant Krajecki of the Grey Ant clothing line. Sims then began to supply Grey Ant with music for its fashion shows. "My involvement with Grant's fashion shows was to compose music for his runways. Grant would tell me 'I want to hear the sound of someone having sex in an elevator while walking down the runway."

Needing a place to perform his music and spin records, Sims and Ryan Heffington started an electro night, "Socket" at a local LA underground club. "Ryan and I began to imagine what it would be like to combine performance art and live music in a controlled setting. We set out to make a show that was dripping with sexual content and visual statements about the juxtaposition of fame and familiarity. You know the stuff that we see everyday in Hollywood," states Mount Sims.

Performing with two erotically skillfull dancers, Mount Sims show is definitely a sexually charged event. "I approached Erin and Lisa after seeing them perform for Hysterica (one of LA's most challenging modern dance companies). They were perfect. Sexy, smart, and well versed in modern dance dialog. "Erin and Lisa in their performance in the Mount Sims show represent taboo and transgression, the future of human Eros, and the beginning of technosexuality," proclaims Mount Sims.

During all of this, Germany's renowned DJ Hell obtained a copy of Mount Sims' demo and signed him to his famed electro label International Dee Jay Gigolo. "I was hyped when I heard form Hell that he liked the music. He is one of the most tasteful listeners and DJ's in existence."

After seeing their live show this past March at Winter Music Conference in Miami, Emperor Norton Records took an interest in Mount Sims and eventually put him in the studio with producer Mickey Petralia (BECK, LADYTRON). Together Mickey and Sims "freaked the mix a bit more" and recorded four extra tracks for the North American version of Ultra Sex: "If I Can't Have You," "Unspeakable," "Black Sunglasses," "Hollywood Bride" and '"We Electric."

Now that the record is complete, Mount Sims are ready to turn some heads with their music and erotically charged live show. Hopefully, Sims will earn the same enthusiastic response he received from an all VIP industry crowd at the opening of LA's new Standard Hotel. "When we started out the set all I could see were open mouths in reaction to us. Some people were so offended by the clothes Erin and Lisa were wearing and the way we were behaving on stage. It was beautiful. Not because we offended, but because by the end of the show the audience were really into the performance."

aber was geil war auf der low budget paty in hannover....ich leg auf, der shao schon voll am pennen. ich zieh die mt sims raus, weiß nicht mehr, welcher track- steht ja nix drauf- plötzlich springt der shao wie von der tarantel gestochen auf und rockt voll ab, zieht sich nackt aus, tanzt auf den tischen und spielt luftgitarre.....ooops, nee ganz so wars nicht. stimmt alles bis zum voll abrocken....*g*

(Ersichtlich aus dem Refrain "Ahh... you know how we do, you know how we do.. you know how we do")
Ach ja ist wie gesagt der Hammer... was obrige Beschreibung des Ausrast Fakrots von VP ja schon bescheinigen dürfte...
