That is the background of everything coming. We go back to 1995, the year that Alex Multhaup describes as the year of his crucial experiences. The year of the endless club nights in the legendary club "Aufschwung Ost" in Kassel, Germany. Affected by DJ's like David Alvarado, John Aquaviva or also Joey Beltram he decided to dedicate himself to DJ'ing with large passion by having his first gigs in various local clubs. In 1997 Alex Multhaup opens his first club "Space Station" in Hoexter, somewhere deep in Ostwestfalen. This was also the the place where Alex Multhaup and Gabriel Ananda met for the first time, which was the beginning of their friendship. In 1998 Alex Multhaup and Gabriel Ananda produced their first joint 12" 'Da Hairy Belafontes', released on the German imprint 'H°Zrspielmusik'. Besides the North-Rhine-Westphalia youth culture price 'Arts and Music' was awarded to Alex Multhaup. Afterwards he founded his Headquarter in Cologne, played as DJ on various events and launched Karmarouge Records in cooperation with Gabriel Ananda in 2000. Gabriel Ananda Gabriel Ananda is back on the block with Karmarouge on his brilliant debut album 'Tai nasha no karosha' .
